Inspiring and informative...

Father Butler clearly defines religious life. Using St. Thomas' wealth of knowledge, as one of the Doctor's of the Catholic Church, Sacred Scripture, and numerous reference materials, Father Butler makes a distict case that we are all called to the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. The approach and question to ask (for anyone who is discerning religious life or for spiritual and vocational directors) should be: "God is calling you, daring you to follow Him. Excellent book!!!

To anyone searching to clarify their vocational inquiries, here is a treasure of our simple Catholic wisdom!
