This unconscious process is as much as twelve times more powerful and it limits both abusers' and victims' ability to change. The author explores the connections between the three brain regions, interconnectivity with the electromagnetic field, the laws of attraction, generational and environmental influences on abuse and violence. This model integrates a wide range of all the components that go into intimate partner violence and abuse. It is based on scientific research, attachment theories and relates these to spirituality and religion within the context of soul ties and bonding. This novel approach to abuse and violence in proximity relationships provides answers for both the victim and perpetrator. It bridges the deficiency gap in existing models and approach to understanding and addressing abuse and violence.
