Makes Finding God Easy

As a Pastor, graduate student, and a believer, I found this book enjoyable. Meeks not only gets beyond the religious "stuff", he steps on it in the process. He gets to the foundation of what the Scriptures really are about--God wants us to be in a relationship with Him. The only down side is that he doesn't give a lot of practical ways to increase the depth of our relationship. This is a great read for anyone who is tired of all the religous trappings or just needs refreshing. Great for pastors too.

Pastor Steve has done a tremendous job of helping believers understand the necessity of living in fellowship with their friend, Jesus, as opposed to following the harsh standards of religion. The book is still in print and can be obtained from Calvary Community Church in Houston, TX.
