Being a very big fan of the Eddings's work, I was compelled to read Regina's Song. It was certainly a new direction for them, but It seemed to branch back to the similarities between Polgara and her twin sister Beldaran. Many of the mannerisms of the characters are the same, such as temperment and speech. I think the book was very good, though, and the story was creative, however, I was not suprised by the ending due to the back cover summary. It tells the whole story and there's not alot more to suprise you...you don't start running into new stuff until the end of the book.
fantastic
