Great nightstand book for spiritual inspiration and solace

This book has the distilled wisdom of a theosophical lifetime contained within. The selections are perfect little bites or nuggets. Great reading when you need a spiritual shot in the arm -- I like to open it randomly to see what leaps out at me -- or for when you need spiritual solace. No putting on of airs in this book. The author is very down to earth, a Grandmother of Wisdom. I enjoyed her other books, Sophia Sutras, Book of Rituals, and Dictionary of Spiritual Thought. Her Aquarian Rosary is pretty cool, too. This lady has been around for decades -- quietly, unassumingly teaching the western mystery tradition. We use some of her works as textbooks at our Esoteric Christian Mystery school and of course her own students at Sancta Sophia Seminary are enriched by her excellent writings.
