In January 2014, the Folsom CA Senior Center inaugurated a memoir writing class. The students drew on diverse backgrounds and research to write stunning, heartwarming stories of their childhoods, war experiences, ancestors, family memories and much more - preserving the history we never learn in school. This small book is a compilation of a few of those stories from our first year.
