Cheesy Title, Good Story

Jared Redwolf,a half Indian who was abandoned by his father, worked on a farm when he was a young man attending college and fell in love with the farmer's daughter Ava. Everything is going great until suddenly Ava leaves claiming she is in love with someone else and is going to get married. Flash forward 4 years, Ava is back in town for her sister's wedding and believes she can avoid Jared because he is out of town. When he comes back early and runs into Ava a lot of emotions come out and he comes to her sisters house wanting answers. Ava left town because she was pregnant with Jared's daughter and her father threatens to throw Jared and his grandmother off his land if she doesn't do what he tells her to do. Ava hasn't seen her bigot father since and doesn't believe her sister who says her father has changed and wants to have his granddaughter and daughter back in his life. When Jared discovers he has a daughter he is furious, he vowed never to abandon a child like his father abandoned him. He demands to spend time with his child but vows never to forgive Ava. Ava doesn't tell him why she left and lets him believe she left to marry another man, when she has never dated anyone else in reality. Ava still loves Jared but knows he will not forgive her. When Jared finds out Ava never married he is baffled, he invites her to move into his home to help their daughter adjust but tries to keep his heart guarded even when he gives in to his physical feelings for Ava. This is a story about forgiveness. Ava has to forgive her father and Jared has to forgive Ava, her father and his father in order to find love again and have a new life. The only problem I have with this book is that some of the timelines don't fit. Jared is supposed to be a successful very wealthy lawyer now, but it has only been four years since he last saw Ava. I can't buy that he finished college, went to law school and became a successful wealthy lawyer in four years. I think they were trying to make it where the little girl was still little enough to be Jared's "little girl" but it would have worked just as well if she had been 8 1/2 instead of 3 1/2. It still was a great story.

Who was the father to her child?Between Muna and Rita there was a bit of matchmaking going on.Then Muna tells Jared that Ava's daughter has her father's eyes.Oh boy, Jared and Ava's relationship is just about blown to smithereens. But of course, [hah!] the hormones rule.Wonderful story of emotional growth and renewing relationships and repairing emotional ties and soothing the hurts of misunderstandings.another matter of emotional skrew-ups - ah well!Definitely Recommended --M this is number 1 with Rita's story coming out in September - #2
