Great character-building stories for children

Very short stories that tell children (ages 8-12) about people who have shown courage, patience and perseverance to overcome huge difficulties, then challenge the children to think about areas of their own lives where they might use their God-given abilities to do the same. Good for groups or individuals. Have used it for years with the kids I teach. Finally getting my own copy rather than using the library's.
