My poverty: pre-requisite for His fullness . . .

Please read this book. It is such a powerful tool in the Hand of God to transform you. Gary and Marie risk being totally transparent in sharing the ways the Lord has moved in their own lives, and their transparency will give you hope in your own life. I promise you will be changed, not by what YOU can do, but by the hope of what HE can do. I started my year off with Gary and Marie's book, and a passage from Isaiah 1:11 - 31. Both have influenced me powerfully this year as I have come to understand that God is not at all pleased with all the "religious works" the church does, calling that righteousness. He is determined to have a bride who has been stripped of all religious-ness, all self-righteousness, who has been emptied of self, who has come to the place of understanding her own spiritual poverty. Only then will she be able to receive HIM fully, His resources, His LIFE, His righteousness, and only then will the world be transformed as His Kingdom comes on earth. Gary and Marie give such accurate understanding of this in their book. Their teaching is life-changing.
