High-classed romance paperback, very tense.

I have sold many of these becaus I will not sell JUNK! This is a book of the type which I prejudicedly overlooked...until I gave it a shot and read it, then researched it, and now as I relate the Western life of a young man named Brice who lived on a ranch by himself, sort of falls, slowly as he is most cautious about the marriage situation, as hewas married once prior, and he is taken up with his neighbor, who, being pregnant and left in a lurch by the child's father, basically crawls over to Brices home looking for sustenance and help as she is left alone by the "idiot' as in today's lifes dominates what used to be stable family life, and this is a fact that makes me ill to see and witness as I have been married for 43 years and met my wife when we were 15 and went to different Catholic Parochial schools, miles apart from each other, but there is no-one I could ever share my life with, as in the book, we took some time (we went together almost singularly for four (4) years, and were married in 1965 after I came out of the US Navy Reserves. This book:"The Rancher's Wife" is really a test of our love for any woman or man we are considering for marriaage partner. As we did, we took life slowly and because I respected her dad so much, I ...loving him, would never violate his daughter, my Barbara, and we kept always with others to keep our love pure and not relying on the feelings of"liking" orinfatuation, for we can like or be infatuated with many, but to love forever, (or 40+ years) you MUST learn and teach yourself about your mate-to-be first. Like Brice saw Elizabeth, he considered if this could be a wife for him and a mom for his children. That plus more = "time". So for a short story by Lynda Trent, I saw my life fulfilled through the first romance story I had read, and passed on by selling to others this beautiful Love and L`I`K`E story, sure! You must like before to rip the heart of one that you should respect for life. I had seen many parallels, but if you want what is written, patience is much needed, and forget "jumping on someone's bones", as we jokingly verbosely squack out in these days in which we now live. I rarely give 5 stars for anything as I feel that a 4 of 5 is the highest or 9 of 10 is another measuring stick, for there is always some story around the corner that is better in some ways, so how can you rate something you have out-rated already...but, let's hear it for Elizabeth and Brice in "The Rancher's Wife" by 'Lynda Trent". From my heart: Fourstrings-RIT

Absolutely Terrific!

This quick and easy read is very enjoyable! Don't pass up this one!

"The Rancher's Wife" is a great read.

A woman abandoned by her husband who lived in a mud hut was starving. She swallowed her pride and rode over the hill to the ranch she discovered and asked for food. When they made brief contact they both felt something between them. Although he is married to his ungrateful pregnant wife, he still feels something for his neighbor and offers her his home when his wife dies. He needs a mother for his child. Will she accept the offer? Or does she still think her errant husband will come back to her? Read the book! It's great!
