The Stuart family's vacation turns out a bit differently than planned when they discover their rented summer home is more than worthy of its nickname--Ramshackle Roost. This description may be from another edition of this product.
For those who love a book with well developed characters whose antics are realistic, with good suspense, and fun for a wide range of ages, "Ramshackle Roost" is worth your time. It is a story about a family of six who decide to move from their cramped apartment to a former boarding house for the summer. Their vacation holds excitement for each member of their hilarious family, along with a snobby young houseguest. This book reminds me of stories by Louisa May Alcott, but a little more lighthearted. I highly recommend it!
