Fun read and good enough for CO natives

I rambled across this at the library and went from a drive-by glance to reading the whole thing. Mr. Peterson's curious and positive nature comes through in the Colorado "attractions" he visits, the way he engages the people he mets in the course of those visits, and his overall writing style. I've lived in CO for about forty years and found the book interesting for the items I was already familiar with (i.e. HOW the author covered them) AND for items I wasn't familiar with. I'll be taking a bit of inspiration from Mr. P and making more of an effort to visit some of these curiousities here in my "back yard." A great book to have for yourself if visiting CO or if you live here already.
