Couldn't Have Said It Better

The discussion about being at home full time to raise our children is often heated and impossible to resolve in one sitting. Keavy's book addresses the many facets of the choice to come home with unrelenting conviction, yet full of the compassion that proves she understands the sensitivities associated with a move homeward. The reader hears the point, then experiences genuine understanding of the myriad circumstances seemingly in her way (spouse, finances, etc.). After all, she's lived it! Keavy offers sound, principled argument, with love, compassion, AND with creative solutions and rich humor! The blessing of being home with my children is impossible to share with anyone to the depth to which I feel it. And the grief I feel for moms who want to come home, but don't believe they can is heartbreaking ...until now. Carey Keavy has written what we all want to say to our dearest friends, but we're afraid of risking the friendship. Now all we need to do is giftwrap the book and present it at the baby shower! Keavy gently restores women to their honorable status as queens of their homes through creative ideas that are easily applied. Also nice is the book's format; it provides time for reflection and self-discovery, encouraging a personal walk through a very sensitive subject. Carey Keavy has written a book that, hopefully for us moms, will not be the last we hear from her!
