Two sisters--soap star Alexa Taylor and her sister Catherine, a talented pianist--yearn to be reunited, but shocking secrets, inner demons, and tragic loves block their path.
Don't read the editorial review-it reveals too much of the story! I was a little surprised by the way in which KS shuffled around the love lives of the characters; I hadn't yet read many of her books. Now I know she does this often. James Sterling, whom I liked the best, was a great guy, but I was never convinced that he was a best friend to the senator. The rare times they appeared together, they were never more than cordial to one another; they talked as strangers would. Also, James should have been more responsible in his love life; it wasn't fair of him to let another man develop feelings for the one he loved, then want that man to walk away when he finally came to his senses. The plots were great, however, a very interesting story, and once again KS sweeps us away to foreign lands.
Romance at it's BEST!

The first book by Katherine Stone that I read was Bel Aire. After that I was hooked. This book had so many exciting incidents, there was no way you could guess the ending. Alexa and Katherine were very strong characters. I enjoyed this book emensely. The action was wonderful. The love between the main characters and their respective love intrests is there from the begining and their journey to that realization is all the fun. I love the fact that the love scenes are not explict and very subtle.
