From a member of the "Romantic Times" Hall of Fame comes the story of a wild-spirited woman who returns to the Rainbow's End mine to claim her inheritance, only to have her heart claimed by a handsome ruffian.
I enjoyed the antics of this hero and heroine. Particularly unusual for a novel of this type was the "hard-drinking" hero, and heroine who wanted to be a nun, and other colorful characters that add scenic dimension. It only took a couple days to read. I like the original cover art better, though. The heroine's Irish father is a well-meaning chump, but he gets his way in the end and everything works out for the best. A romp of a story, and worth reading.
