Immortal Ops

Melanie Daly goes out for a fun evening to celebrate her friend's birthday when her whole world is turned upside down. She ends up shoved in the back of a van, has interesting sex with a practical stranger, Lance, and becomes deathly ill after their night out. On top of everything else, Melanie is trying to suppress her Fae powers and not let anyone know about her abilities. Thaddeus Green is a member of the Immortal Ops, I-Ops team; a group of agents who have extraordinary abilities. Green is not like the others in the team; he was attacked and infected by a were-panther while working in a lab. He is good at his job; actually he is completely focused on his job until he gets distracted by the very sexy Melanie. Melanie knows that she is dying, but she lets her friends drag her out again. She spends her evening trying to catch a glimpse of Green. Green knows it is his duty to take care of Melanie after Lance's death since they were practically brothers. He just cannot believe how familiar Melanie is to him or how much he wants her. In a split second, their lives and the other members of the I-Ops team lives are thrown together by both Green and Melanie's past lives. Will Green and Melanie be able to overcome their past history to find each other and true love? Radar Deception was an excellent read that created an instant rapport with the main and secondary characters that just instantly pulled me into the story! Melanie is smart, sexy, and can take care of herself, but underneath it all, she is a bit vulnerable and conflicted. Green is a hard working, gorgeous, and solitary genius who has to fight his past to find his future. I loved everything about Radar Deception; the great characters, the attraction between Green and Melanie, the gamut of emotions...okay EVERYTHING! This is another winner by Mandy M. Immortal Ops: Radar Deception

Roth keeps you in stitches from the frist page. Letting your emmotions run from laughter, angrier, to sadness over things to come. She lets you loose yourself for awhile in her world. Her characters while not being real seem life like. So I would recommend this book to anyone who has an imagination and loves the thought of Were, Fairies and other creatures who are suppose to be make believe.
