A must for all aspiring racing skippers

In a no frills manner Mike Golding describes the essentials that any wannabe skipper needs to know. The topics covered range from team building to actual techniques and maneuvers, as well as advice for specific situations such as sail changes etc.Although this book is not exhaustive by any means, it is food for thought on a large number of issues. It will certainly whet one's appitite to learn more.After all it's not every day the you hear a renowned skipper like Mike Golding recommending you carry reference books with you and use them, which is what he admits to doing.Which books - I'll give you a clue - try chapter 7of Mike's book!
