Quilt show in a book, with 4 patterns for illusion quilts

Although this book doesn't really offer instruction for the majority of the quilts in the book, there are enough details for the more advanced quilter to follow the 4 patterns at the back. This book is more for inspiration than instruction (8 pages of details). Still it is worth a look for all the variety of illusion quilts shown here, and the theory behind creating these unusual effects. NO cut lists, or summary of fabric quantities needed, but paper templates are included to scale for the 4 projects (without addition of 1/4" seam allowances). Advanced quilters would not need instructions to create many of these quilts, but I would look elsewhere for instructions on tools, methods of quilting, and completing whole projects.

Wonderful instructional

A truly wonderful instructional/reference book that features a variety of VERY colorful quilt projects that are bursting with modern design styles and yet retain many folk elements. The book has easy to follow (yet detailed) text, illustrations, diagrams, photos and patterns. The book is now out of print and any form and has become quite a sought after item at crafting shows.
