Great Book

This book arrived in great condition and was just what I needed. The seller went above and beyond to get this book to me! I am very pleased with this purchase.

First book I have finished for Outlook 2000

Easy to read, great examples, and covers alot of detail in a relatively short period of time. Highly recommended! First Outlook 2000 book that I finished reading. Most others are tailored for people using Exchange. This one tells you to skip the following if you don't have Exchange.

Very Useful

I picked up this book "on sale" thinking it would eventually be useful. It turned out I needed it almost immediately to prepare some high-priority training presentations.I'd used PowerPoint before to do some presentations for school but hadn't used any of the really cool useful features because I didn't know they existed. The importance of this work-related project motivated me to sit down and work through the entire book. I was impressed with how fast it moves from one useful topic to the next. It took me two days (part-time) to get all the way through the book but an inspired reader could do it in a day. By the end of the book I'd learned enough to complete the training presentation project very successfully.I typically hate application instruction books because they are usually so patronizing. But this one is definitely useful and easy to read. I'm now interested in checking out more titles in Microsoft's "Quick Course" book series.

As advertised

I had some time to kill in a book store recently and picked up this book. I've been considering purchasing Front Page 2000 and I thought Quick Course might let me know if the software was worth the purchase. I felt the book did what it advertised. In less than two hours I knew enough to convince me to make the purchase. Even though I didn't have the software to work with, the descriptions and pictures filled in all the gaps. The material was clear, organized, and well documented.I'll probably buy a more detailed book for more advanced features, but this one will get me up and running.

Easy Start Up

A great book for a concise overview of FrontPage and at a great price too. The topics range from E-mail Hyperlinks to ActiveX Controls. If you need to learn the basics of FrontPage in a few days, this book will do the trick. However, if you are looking for somthing that covers all the technical details, you may be left wanting more. I would recommend this book for a beginner level person who is looking to put together a simple website or their first website.
