A book among books

The world of accelerated learning/self-help books has exploded. Hundreds and hundreds of texts purport to show you techniques for getting smarter, have better memory, etc.The good news is that a couple books (Most especially this one and "The Einstein Factor") are actually worth having and reading. This book is well worth the price and should make a great gift for anyone you know interested in learning.

The BEST!

This is one of the most value books extant. I have delved a great deal into issues of increased intelligence, etc., and this book is one of the best values around. It covers not only self-analysis but also self-improvement. It's notes on memory and speed-reading echoe the main points in a program costing 20 times as much. I heartily recommend this book to anyone interested in increasing your intellect.

Want to accelerate your learning capacity? READ this book!

This book has opened my eyes to the barriers of old teaching methods (my schooling was from '73 to '86). If the techniques in this book are applied, it stands to reason that you will be a better learner. Ultimately, it all comes down to your confidence level and applying yourself but this book definitely guides you to a way of learning that we never (very unfortunately) experienced in school but it is never too late. It makes me realize how fun and easy learning can be with just a little conscious effort. I enjoyed discovering my personal learning style (which makes it easier to learn) and the type of thinker I am. When I finished the self-test (in the book), I was amazed to find the description of the type of thinker I am to be right on. Reviewing the other types of thinking (we all have a little of the 4 types presented) it made me able to understand others because I immediately was able to associate some people I know with their type.To the Authors: Thank you for the help and best wishes in your future endeavors. I would like for my children (when older) to attend SuperCamp.

A really great book with excllent tips!

Bobbi Deporter has indeed come up with a case which can unleash the genius in you! This is a real cool book. It has tips from various other books- summary of those books(the thing that really matters to us). For example, it has tips on positive attitude, memorizing tricks, speed reading, cultivating a positive attitude, creativity and lots lots more. The book's worth the deal.

An '"insightful" reading experience.

Initially apprehensive about reading the book, as I discounted it as "one of those books which only confirmed & projected what I'd otherwise already known." The 1st topic on "Relearning How To Learn" is "chockfull of information", needless to say subsequent topics were just as good if not, better. The writing style in particular, the choice of words, language and the detailed and concise explanations on the psychology of the brain and the stifling effects of the untrained mind, and its differences from the trained mind is very enlightening. In so doing, I am inspired n challenged to go after my "pursuits," to think positively, to persevere, to view obstacles as mere ladders to success n not as impending failure. As I continue to read n re-read "Quantum Learning," I am confident it will continue to enhance and enrich my life. As I strip myself of the endless limitations, the inadequacies n insecurities within me, I can stand ready and bold to face the challenges of daily living.
