TQM + Education: for beginners and non believers

I actually bought this book as a source for my industrial engineering thesis. The first three chapters explain very well what TQM and quality are, how they work, the "new" ideas and how to apply these in the administrative systems, mainly. (since I had studied this at university I didn't find nothing special here...) but the last chapter deals with the academic system and its good to read in clear technical words the ideas in my mind that I just couldnt express. It is not a "HOW to" book, it is definitely a little too technical, so if your are really looking to get started and dont want many theory, you wont enjoy it. Both of the authors are teachers and they speak of their experience, but by no way, this book is a step by step. As a reference book, it is perfect but if you would like something to put your hands on inmmediatly, I suggest to buy something else. Interesting but a little cold. ( like all technical books maybe)
