The finest medium of this century ...

This is a fascinating read and one of a series of books that Knight has written recently revealing the inner workings of the Inner Light. A valuable contribution to the field of occult history.

Deserves More than 5 Stars!

This book is a necessary requirement for anyone who has read Dion Fortune's work, or that has an interest in the Western Esoteric Tradition! Margaret Lumley Brown (also known as Irene Hay) has to be one of the most fascinating figures in occult history. I found the amount of information staggering and still go back to re-read parts of the book. I imagine I will continue to refer to it for many years to come. Among the most interesting subjects is the information contained on the elements and elementals, the angels and archangels, the Atlantean Tradition, the Egyptian Tradition, the ancient Magi, and many other aspects of the Western Tradition that have shaped what it has become today. The book also contains beautiful poetry that touches such subjects as the Solar Logos; Ishtar and Babylonian contacts; and, the Lilith/Eve connection. This biography sheds light on a woman that was a moving force behind some of the best esoteric work ever brought through, leaving a wealth of information upon which to build. This is a truly amazing book about a truly amazing woman!
