Still helped me today even though it's no longer in print!

I've heard that this book is considered to be the Bible of the children's show-biz industry, and now I know why! I arm-wrestled my friend's dog-eared copy away from her just in time to learn the real inside scoop of the industry. Kudos to the author who really tells it like it is, and provides sage advice from one who has been there and done that. The book is based both on personal experience and manifest research. It includes listings, photos, and interviews with professionals in the fields of modeling and acting. The author also tells you how to avoid the traps set by unscrupulous people who prey on parents and their innocent children. A definite read for anyone who is contemplating allowing their child to enter the (sometimes) lucrative child acting and modeling fields.
