Outstanding

As a long time student of American history I found this British perspective eye opening. He picks apart the ultimate paradox in American culture...how we were a country founded on freedom that works so hard to deny it to so many. The evolution of the American identity and our definition of equality is painstakingly examined under a microscope. Americans and non-Americans alike should find this book inspiring.
