Scary Beautiful

Julianna Baggott's take on a world following an atomic-bomb-like senario shouldn't be described as beautiful. But I can't help but admire her poetic details and the beauty the characters find despite their world being in ruin. Truly a magnificent book! Just...don't read it while eating I would say this most closely resembles The Hunger Games, in terms of distopian story lines that have dynamic characters. But this is like The Hunger Games on acid, in the best way possible!
