Prophetic Word Journal

God's spoken words have great value and give direction. The Psalmist declared, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105)." His prophetic words come as symbols, signs, visions, dreams, scriptures that speak to us, and even spoken utterances that enlighten us. It is important that we journal these encounters with the Lord so that we can remember what He has said. When we make note of these words, we can refer back to them when we need a sense of encouragement, reassurance, and to also remind God of His promises to us as we pray. Then when the promises of God come to pass, we can also go back and record the testimony that we have received. What a joy to be able to record the exact moment that God brought His word to pass. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry (Habakkuk 2:3).
