Wow! This book is a winner! It takes the mystique out of Earned Value. It may be the best investment in reference material that I have ever made. The concise writing style, clever illustrations and succinct common sense "reminders" enabled me to quickly read AND easily understand a topic that other authors had made seem extremely complex. My level of comprehension of the Earned Value concepts and the possibilities they offer have reached a new high. For the first time I feel very confident that I can capitalize on the potential value of Earned Value. This refreshingly unique book is the project management profession's answer to "The One Minute Manager" and "Who Moved My Cheese"--easy to read, easy to understand and jam-packed with experience-based insights. "Project Management--A Commonsense Approach" proves, once again, that a book should be judged on its content and value added and not on its weight!
Phenomenal

This books was superb! Really loved the CommonSense Approach! Made the topic actually interesting! Loved the artwork too! It is written in such a style that it allows for an simple and quick read, but designed for easy reference later. It is not a typical Fleming "novel" that believes that the number of pages equates to the quality of information provided. This is a light read that enables the reader to grasp, the sometimes quite over-analyzed, Earned Value concepts and understand them in layman's terms. This is a must read for anyone starting out in the Project Management arena!
