There could be lots of programming books about Windows 3.1 but this one is extraordinary. It has information for both beginners and advanced programmers. The source code is arranged so neatly and each critical point is explained comprehensively. Some of the chapters (e.g. Memory Management) just cover the subject generally but I can say that it is sufficient. Examples can be compiled with both Visual C++ and Borland C++. If you want to join the development race, this book will help you learn nearly all information about Windows environment although it is for previous version.
