This book offers the reader a complete understanding of programming basics, from the ground level to the top of programming concepts. The Author gives the reader a concise and clear definition of what a program is, and what a program does after being developed, to include the necessary steps for research, steps for analysis and the required documentation after creating and implementing a program. This book was issued to me while attending technical college for "programming analysis, and networking administration". I can't speak for the entire class, however, I was completely impressed with the writing and logic of this book and the author's clear and thought-provoking concepts discussed and detailed in each of the chapters. In addition, the reader was introduced to "flowcharting", "pseudo coding" and object orient programming, which are the essential for upcoming programmers as well as current experienced programmers. The reader can pick up this book and follow along with an instructor as well as a self pace study, with little or no intervention from the instructor. I strongly recommend this book for anyone interested in programming, and highly recommend this book for all programming curriculum courses being taught at college or technical institutions.
