Now back in print is the classic Mercer Mayer story of Professor Wormbog, who had collected every beast from A to Y. Now he is ready to find his Z beast--the elusive Zipperrump-a-Zoo. Full-color illustrations.
When my daughters were young, we read this book several times a week. The illustrations are great -- imaginative and detailed. The story is cute enough for kids, and fun for adults to read as well. I am purchasing several copies for great nieces and nephews as well as for an expected grandchild.
Wonderful, Charming Book!

This was one of my favorite books when I was a child. As I got older, it was passed on to my sibilings, and when I worked with children, they all loved it. This book has it all: humor, adventure, great storytelling, and memorable characters. If you are looking for a whimsical, fun book that's good for the whole family, this is it. (If you're one of us, too, that's in your twenties and still getting a smile when you read of the adventures of Professor Wormbog... don't worry, I won't tell anybody.)
Must have for young kids

One of my very favorite books from childhood. The creatures in this book are so fun and the artwork so detailed. I used to make my mom read it to me again and again to try and find new things in the pictures. A great companion book is "One Monster After Another" by the same author, because it has some of the same characters.
Best Book Ever!

This was my favorite book as a child. Luckily I saved it to share with my own kids. I've been looking for a "new" copy for years with no luck. I was thrilled to see that it was re-released. The illustrations are more vivid in the original, but the re-release is a great size and I'm happy to let my kids flip through it. The story is funny and engaging and might just help them learn the alphabet!

One of my favorite books from childhood. The pages are filled with illustrations that allow you to find something new every time. My sister and I spent hours reading and rereading this book. I love it. Great Job to the publishers for reprinting it.
