Well-done continuation to the Hammerjack story line. Complex writing & story development, & good surprises.

Marc Giller does a great job writting his futuristic series. Someone needs him to jump in and write action series for TV or Movies - the man can grab your attention and keep those action scenes humming. Better than his previous piece "Hammerjack" (which is also good) this one is easier to understand. In this bleak "Bladrunner" (over used cliche but had to be done) future there are no good guys just various companies and tech terrorist battling for the next break through in bio-technology. Marc is even able to spark new life in the worn out character of "Super-Female Warrior" with "Avalon". If someone could pick this up or have Marc take his vision to movies, TV series, or Mini-Series I know the story would be great and the action scenes better than anything in "The Matrix" etc. Enjoy a new exciting scary time in a future I hope never comes to pass.
A perfect sequel!

How do you write a perfect sequel? Exactly the way Marc D. Giller does. You fill in the holes that were lightly touched on in the first book, you connect the plot solidly to the previous one, and most importantly, you write a completely different book. Although it's set in the same world, it's as though a different author wrote it. I loved it. The part of the plot that was set on Mars was killer. You'll love the way he connects a Mars recovery mission with the Inru. Brilliant. Like the first novel, there's action aplenty, but it's tempered with many introspective periods. Plenty of character devlopment here. And like the first novel, there's a whopper of an ending! I'd love to see a movie made out of this. Bravo, Mr. Giller!
