Methods and topics of psychology: quality presentation

I found this to be a quite complete basic (although "basic" may be a bit too limiting for any 600+ page book) text on the fundamental assumptions, methods, and theory of psychology. Various approaches to many subjects in the field of psychology are well presented and there are numerous citations. Complete references, Glossary and index. I purchased it years ago for a college class and I have used it as a reference many times since. I recommend it as a text book, a reference source, and for many hours of fascinating reading. I especially liked the scientific approach used by the authors.
