Contemporary werewolf romance

Joelle Randall goes to the Canadian rockies to confront her past, to find the place where her parents disappeared in a plane crash accident years ago. There she meets Luke Gevaudan, a mysterious man who is shunned and feared by the locals. Luke is a French Canadian and is also a werewolf. He's a loner and lives by himself in a cabin high up in the mountains. Joelle hires him to guide her through the rockies to find the crash site. During their trip, Joelle slowly finds herself attracted to Luke, despite his dangerous traits. Luke is a well known womaniser and has a reputation for charming the ladies to his cabin but noone knows what happens to these ladies afterwards. In Joelle he has found his soul mate and is afraid to fall in love with her because of the consequences. Once a werewolf finds his soul mate, he will be attached to her forever. Can Joelle and Luke keep going on denying their attraction for each other despite their growing feelings? This book is full of atmosphere and sexual tension. All of Susan Krinard's werewolves are devilishly attractive and handsome. They always hide a hidden past and Luke is no exception. There is loads of suspense and you will find yourself urging on Luke and Joelle to get together. Joelle is reluctant at first to fall for Luke until she finds a softer side in him. This is a great read and I definitely recommend it to all romance readers. Lealing

Werewolf Romance at its Best!

I found Susan Krinard's books quite by accident. At the local ubs I was in a "vampire" mood and came across Prince of Dreams by Susan which was the story of a vampire told in a very unique way. Although I did enjoy the story - enough for me to search out her other titles, nothing prepared me for Prince of Wolves. A hauntingly beautiful love story that will stay with you for a very long time. Susan's writing is extremely detailed, very informative and flows quite easily. Her stories are longer than most but I consider that a plus!Prince of Wolves is a story about werewolves, as a race. It is also about love and happily ever after but more importantly it is the story of possibilities. This is not some far-fetched, way out there type book about some evil beings... it is well-written and almost (I do stress the almost) makes you want to believe in the possibility of a race of this kind. Intense and powerful with a plot that will continually surprise you.Joelle Randall was a strong heroine with normal human weaknesses. She had beauty, grace and intelligence (a requirement in every heroine as far as I am concerned) but what she also had was faith. Her trust in what could not be possible gave her a sort of inner glow that was both positive and alluring. Luke Gévaudan. Well what can you say about a man that is part wolf... Sexy doesn't cover it! He was a legend come true and he made you believe in the impossible! He was clever, he was strong and loving and power just oozed out of his pores. I absolutely fell in love with everything about this book. All of the characters, main, secondary, villain... everyone played an important role and each voice was crucial to the story. Susan has a unique way of blending a story together and thankfully this book has sequels! Prince of Shadows, Touch of the Wolf and Once a Wolf.If you're in the mood for something wild, read Prince of Wolves!

A GOOD WEREWOLF STORY

Wolves have always interested me and since i saw the movie WOLF i became a big fan for the supernatural romances. Prince of Wolves was a very wonderful emotional story, the details and description was so real. After reading the first few chapter Luke Gevaudan character irritated me because of his intention to Joelle, but as the story progressed Luke finally realizes he found his true soul mate. I always believed that a good writer knows how to let the reader's emotions come out and Susan Krinard is one of them.

FANTASTIC story!

This was the first Krinard novel I had ever read. This was the one that brought me back to her time and again. I was so incredibly drawn into the story. I very much enjoy how she incorporates this supernatural/paranormal activity with the characters, all of whom were well-developed, might i add..she made them come alive. The reason I love Krinard so much is because she is unlike any other romance novelist. Her stories are new, unpredictable, and overall, just extremely well done. This is a definite MUST MUST read! :)

I can only say "TERRIFIC"

I have read Sue Krinard's Prince of Wolves and I can't say enough about this book. I usually read my Romance Novels while I do my treadmill, and I actually did an extra 2 miles because I didn't want to stop reading. This book has everything a Romance Reader could possibly want in a book...I couldn't put it down. I recommend it to anyone who loves romance.
