Well done practical high level book for primary care

Well done for primary care. Book includes pathophysiology basis, diagnosis and treatments for many entities. The thought process for each diagnosis and chapter is very logical. This is a high level book. While the quality of the writing was well done. The paper and quality of the binding was a disappointment. The binding began to break the first week. The paper appears thinner and is not as substantive as many older books I own.

Text required for Graduate Level Training. Has all info needed and easy to read. FYI:Entire book is black and white with lots of tables. Could be better by indexing access to a differential listing based on symptoms.

Comprehensive and User-Friendly

Well organized by systems. LOTS of charts. Diagnostics and differentials are boxed for easy access. An excellent office resource.

Great Reference

I have been practicing as a nurse practitioner for more than seven years and own several reference books. This is the one I reach for whenever I have a question. It is easy to use and contains all of the information I need. I own three copies, one for each office and one for home. I recommend it to all of the nurse practitioner students I precept.

A well written, cutting edge reference. Easy to use format, clearly outlining differentials, diagnostics, and referral guidelines. Great patient education sections. Has replaced all my other primary care texts.
