A spooky "real" good time

I bought this book based on the review by The RAWSISTAZ™ Reviewers who called it a "Spooky Good Time." They gave it a very high rating and recommended it as being refreshingly different. I also talked to three other book clubs who raved about it. I was not disappointed. It was funny and kept me turning the page until the end. I highly recommend it, too.

Pretty Amazing

The book was awesome to put it mildly. It had a combination of Christianity, love, jealousy, revenge and the power of God wrapped in one powerful punch. You hated the guys and Sunny one minute and loved them the next. The suspense in this story was unbelievable. A demoness, Vixen, has just a few days to rid herself of the three bachelors who have bought her former brothel before she is banished forever. What she doesn't count on is a Christian with a special power and love for her friends that conquers all evil. I read it in two days and can't wait for Lexi Davis' next novel.

Unexpected Twists

This whole story was a twist. It was fun watching characters go thru all the supernatural stuff but not know. Vixx the demon bad girl was hard to forget. The author's style was light, not too slow. Good unexpected happenings. I rate it with my top 10 of my favorites so far this year.

Publishers Weekly is WRONG!!!

I finished reading Pretty Evil last night and I agree with NY Times bestselling author Zane, Mary Monroe (author of God Don't Like Ugly), LA Banks, the National Romantic Times Book Club, CushCity's Book Club, Book-Remarks, Nubian Sisters, (...) and ALL those other authors, book clubs, reviewers and readers - This is a GREAT book - creative and fresh. Not like anything else I've read lately.

A Pleasant Surprise

Pretty Evil took me completely by surprise. Reading the title, I thought it might have been a horror book, but was pleasantly thrown off-kilter with this humorous, yet uplifting and spiritual read. Vixx, the main character, is something to behold with her schemes to get her property back. She doesn't realize that she's fighting with a power much greater than she the power of GOD. With brilliant wit and generous doses of thought-provoking insight into what's really important, readers are bound to discover that love may be lurking right under your nose, and always remember: light will always prevail over darkness.
