A good book, and deeper than you would think.

I read this series when I was younger. It kept me turning pages all the way through. The plot line may seem a little vapid, but the story offers surprising insight into the minds of teenage girls. I've met girls like Alexa who seem to have it all, but are seriously lacking in confidence and I've met girls like Michelle, Margo, Gina, Vivienne and Priscilla. This is a fine book that suggests that beauty is not always about looks.

Poor Margo

I very much think Magro's mother is a brat. She should let her daughter express her own talents, not the "Kelly Girl" talents she is supposedley suppost to have. Alexa is a very rude girl and should not be so rude to the Practically Popular Crowd. She would not have to pay them back at all if she haden't started to dump them all. Alexa really HELPED Margo when she told Margo's mom about Margo's little-big lie. I actually think Margo's mother deserved it for putting so much pressure on Margo. Since this book is now out of print, if you would like to read it, I recomend you go to your public library to read them and more of the series... or more of Schneider's pieces.
