Above average look at the presidency.

John Kessel takes a fresh evaluative look at the modern presidency. He tackles more than a simple ranking of the presidents, as he develops a qualitative assessment of the actions of the presidents from Eisenhower to Clinton. How do the actions of each president rank? As far as individual actions go, they are all a success, failure, or have yielded mixed results. Take a look at Kessel's book and then think next time before you consider a President a success or a failure!
