Are we prepared for Christ's return?

How will He return? When will He return? Where will He return? Will Christ's name be different when He returns? Compare your views with those held by a Christian and a Bahá'í as they study Scripture together. This book is a true story. It condenses a three-year long discussion focused on the Scriptural issues of Christ's return. Alex Gottdank was raised in a predominantly Jewish family. In high school he became involved with a YMCA youth group and began attending Christian summer and winter camps. Moved by the spirit shown in these gatherings, Alex read the Bible cover to cover. This exposed him to the love, sacrifice, and teachings of Jesus Christ. As a result he accepted Christ into his life and began sharing the Gospel with friends. This book recounts the discussion between Alex and one of those friends, Brian Wessel, a member of the Bahá'í Faith. The insights gained from this dialogue will benefit both Christians and Bahá'ís.

Excellent Compelling Read

I absolutely loved this book. I can't say enough good things about it. A quick, easy to read, and compelling piece which is not preachy or judgmental, merely informative and very thorough.

Interesting, thought-provoking discussion about the possibility of Christ having already returned

I have read this book several times and it is the best book I have read explaining Biblical prophecy concerning the second coming of Christ and the possibility that they may have already been fulfilled. It is written in a very easy to understand,non-threatening, conversational way that encourages future investigation. It is not preachy and uses primarily Biblical references.

A great little book about the second coming of Christ....

As a Baha'i, I know about many of the things listed in this book, but it was still a great read; it made my faith grow even more. The author uses a rather interesting point and counter-point system for the arguments in the book. The author, a Christian at the time, is the person trying to denounce his Baha'i friends explanations. Finally, they agree to determine if Bahaullah is the secoming coming of Christ--or not--by only using the Bible as their resource for material. I must say the ending is rather surprising indeed! Well, then again, it's there for you to read in the Bible-- you just have to have eyes to see, and ears to hear. :) A great, little book! Recommended for both Christians and Bahai's. Actually, if you're of any faith (or no faith at all) you owe to yourself to check this out.

Focused, condensed, and enjoyable

Admitted: I am a friend of the author, so I'm partial, but the work still merits attention. Alex Gottdank really wastes no time in establishing not only the biblical evidence for the return of Christ in the 19th century prophet Baha'u'llah. Not only does he do this concisely and effciently, he does so from the perspective of his own former suspicion. The reader comes to admire the tenacity of his conviction of the falsity of Baha'u'llah's claims. The intelligence and depth of biblical knowledge displayed by the characters endear the reader to their conversation. Ultimately, it is the act of prayer, and the conviction to obey it's guidance, that guides Alex to the recognition of Christ's new Name. It is a guide to Christ's Return that is concise, entertaining, and spiritually uplifting. What more could a believer in Him want?
