Truth we ignore

We are allowed to blindly function in the west as if the things in this book are imaginary. In fact too many churches would actually ridicule them. But, if you or someone you love is leaving the safety net to do mission work in areas of the world more open to interaction with the spiritual realm, get this book. The author is sane and level in approach giving valid Biblical advice on how to deal with the very real opposition that will be faced. Neither wildly fanatic or dismissive, this book is honestly helpful in an area of great need.

The fact that there is at least one biblical reference on just about every page proves that the Pirolos' understanding of spiritual warfare is, well...biblical. Some people deny that we are in a war altogether and others have such convoluted ideas about the war, that they are completely ineffective in battle. The Pirolos' understanding of that war (based on scripture) and their own experiences (interpreted through scripture) are insightful and useful for any Christian's life.
