solid contemporary romance

Businessman Jackson Ford wears button down white shirts with power ties and will stare down the most powerful business moguls on the planet. He has no idea how to reach his goddaughter Victoria who has not spoken one word since she arrived at his posh London home a few weeks ago.The women Jackson dates always fit appropriately with a conservative entrepreneur. However to his shock he cannot take his eyes off of hippie looking therapist Rain Armstrong hired to help Victoria adjust and hopefully speak. Jackson wants to caress and kiss Rain though his brain keeps reminding him that she is an out of decade flower child. Even more stunning is the change in little Victoria, as she opens up with Rain. Suddenly Jackson begins dreaming heretic thoughts of a life outside of work. He wants Rain and Victoria in his life forever.Though the opposites attraction story line is somewhat trite a theme and the miracle of Victoria too simplistic in resolution, readers will take immense pleasure from the angst-laden PREDICTING RAIN?. The story line works because the audience will enjoy the life style battle between the lead couple and feel empathy for the traumatized Victoria.
