A Grammar Book for Adults

The lean Gula delivery makes this invaulable for the adult who needs a quick grammatical reference. I still pull it off my shelf on occasion when I can't remember when to use "who" and when to use "whom".Though I can't say I truly enjoyed grammar books when I was in school, this one sticks out as a particularly useful one. Perhaps it was the fact that Mr. Gula was my teacher - that made it personal. However that was not the only thing that made this book worthy. As the title suggests, it is about precision in language. It is written as a reference book. There is not any fluff. Strunk and White may be the benchmark in this category, but Gula does a much better job of delivering the necessary information quickly and without verbal fanfare.
