Another wonderful book with prayer and reflection guided by Padre Pio to bring one close to Our Lord
A Very Good Book!

This book was given to me by a priest named Father Michael Roy and I have found it be very useful for my prayer life. The Meditations are broken up into eight parts on various religious subjects. Then each subject is further broken up into a particular meditation which has the wisdom of St. Padre Pio, then some written explanation or commentary by Eileen Dunn Bertanzetti and then a prayer that can be recited for the specific meditation. It is well put together and St. Padre Pio's words are very profound!
perfect for your holy hour

Growing up in the late 70s and early 80s I was part of a generation that got robbed of any kind of serious Catholic teaching. We learned a few basic prayers and had a nodding acquaintance with the sacraments but most of us spent relgion class making burlap banners and collages. I had only the vaugest notion of who Padre Pio was until I was grown and began reading about the Faith on my own. This book is a perfect little companion for your holy hour before the Blessed Sacrament. Each chapter is broken up into short but powerful meditations, excepts from St. Pio's life and ends with a short prayer. It's a really beautiful book.
