A Great Bedtime Book

This is a beautiful book with amazing artwork and beautiful scriptural promises to pray over a little boy at bed time. It made me just melt.

THE ART

Stormie Omartian did a nice job on the story line, lovely, poetic prayers. Altogether a fine purchase. For my purposes, five stars. I bought this book, for the art. Awesome painter is Tom Browning! Prayers and Promises for My Little Boy I am a reformed architect, scholar, converted to painting and I'll buy any book that contains great brushwork and excellent draftsmanship. Kids need to see good art. Never know who might be the next great Dean Cornwell, Haddon Sundblum, Jouquin Sorolla or John Singer Sargent I just wish the format had been larger.

I bought this book yesterday , but in mind for my grandkids..... I am going to buy this one and the one for the girls for my daughter for Christmas .... Wonderful way to pray over your kids.... Love this book....

What better gift can you give your child than to swaddle them in prayer? Stormie O'Martian brings wisdom and spirituality to her book Prayers and Promises for My Little Boy. Readers may be surprised when they sit down to read this book. It is more for parents than children. While it has the appearance of a child's book it is filled with prayers, interspersed with promises and blessings from Scripture for little boys. What a wonderful idea. My children are long grown but I read these prayers and blessings over my grandchildren. When they hear them they snuggle close.
