Please read this book! Seriously, i'm not kidding!

Prayer is everything to the believer in Christ! Prayer is our strongest weapon yet Christians today try and handle their situations first, and then pray second. This book gives a proper view of the Lord's power, and the power in a prayer warrior. This book encouraged me greatly, and it turned my eyes to Jesus in the midst of my trials and my tiredness. If I could have given six stars I would have!

Praying Women

My favorite part in this book is the story of how Pastor Chuck used the example of the bedridden spinster--who prayed specifically and everyday for American preacher, D.L. Moody, to bring revival to her church in London--to encourage Corrie ten Boom, herself confined in her bedroom in her later years, to begin a ministry in intercessory prayer. How encouraging that God can and will use us when we pray to accomplish His purposes. Truly, it's a glorious privilege. Read all about it and be blessed all over again.

AFTER CATHOLICISM!

I grew up Catholic. And as you know, Catholics are taught to memorize prayers. So when somebody asked me to pray for them, my prayers were always short. "God, help them." After reading this book, I feel like I was a blind person and somebody healed me! I'm crying tears of joy, because now I pray like I have a relationship with God! Not only can I pray for others sincerely--I'm praying for me too! God is my heavenly Dad, and I can pray so much more intimately. If you don't completely understand what it means to pray--and I don't mean like a "Hail Mary," Pastor Chuck simply explains how anyone can have a personal and meaningful prayer life that will forever change your life.

Pastor Chuck Smith has written the most clear and concise book on prayer! Sometimes we get such a ho-hum attitude toward prayer, but after reading this book you realize what an awesome privilege it is--coming to the Creator who has the power to change your life! My prayer life is forever changed now that I have read this book. And this is one that you'll want to read over and over again just to remind yourself of all the truths found in it.
