A must-read for Catholics!

Reading about Padre Pio will deepen your faith without a doubt! Reading these miraculous stories told from ordinary people is so inspiring and at times, gave me goosebumps! Sometimes after reading someone's story/encounter with Padre Pio, I just had to shut my book and reflect on what I just read. Padre Pio's emphasis on the rosary has inspired me to pray the rosary more often. His emphasis on going to confession has inspired me to reflect on my own sins. Reading this book will make you want to be a better person. It's a must-read and I will be loaning my book to family members so they can read it as well. I'm grateful someone recommended this book to me and I hope I can pass on the stories of this amazing Saint to others.

A feel good way to grow in faith in God!

I first read these stories as a subscriber to Deacon Ron and Diane Allen's newsletter, of the same name. I looked forward with great anticipation to receiving this on a quarterly basis, and enjoying the true, first hand accounts of the miracles, wisdom and holiness of my Patron Saint, Padre Pio. I was excited to see that she had put together a book of these, and although I have read many of them before, there were a few that I either did not read before, or had forgotten. Either way, these stories are delightful, enriching and will help you grow in your love of the Lord. They are also for Catholics and non-Catholics alike. In a time when our priests are not receiving very good "press", this book will remind you what GOOD priests are about. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

Fantastic book! Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful account of Padre Pio's work in action. The book consists of a very nice and thorough introduction to St. Pio and then gives several testimonies of priests and random, everyday people like you and me. Well written and a comfortable read. I am very glad to have this book in my library.

Best book I've read on Padre Pio

I really really enjoyed reading this book, and I would highly recommend it. The personal stories regarding Padre Pio, made me love him even more, as I feel like I, too know him personally, now. This book is very quick and easy to read...has many individual stories, so you can put it down and resume reading without a problem. It is a very intimate portrait of a man, who was one of the greatest living Saints in our modern times. May all who read this book, be blessed to have Padre Pio as one of their heavenly friends!
