Good resource

A comprehensive study guide with practice tests. I haven't had a math class in 20 years and haven't been teaching upper level math. I felt prepared by going through the book and then taking the practice tests. I guess I should wait for my score before I review but I didn't leave the test feeling like crying.

Spot-on for determining my Praxis II Middle School Math Readiness

This book proved to be an excellent source for brushing up on my overall math skills. There are more than enough practice problems with good explanations. I loved the 3 practice tests. They were slightly harder than my actual test but obviously I was relieved it wasn't the other way around. I also used this guide to study for the CLEP College Math test and again, it was more than enough to pull out an easy passing score. I did find 2 typos but ignored them and moved on.

Great Study Tool, But....

This book was a wonderful investment. I used it and did pretty well on the Praxis test. The only problem was that there were mistakes throughout the book. Some wrong formulas were given, wrong answers, and simply the wrong explanation to a question. So all in all, a great tool, but watch for the book's mistakes.

PRAXIS II: Middle School Mathematics (0069) - (REA): The Best Teachers' Test Prep (Test Preps)

This is a great study guide for preparing for the Praxis II Middle School Math Test. The book offers a great overview of Pre-Algebra, Geometry, and Finite Math. I appreciated the explanations for every practice problem and test question...these were very helpful. I felt prepared for the test after using this study aid.

I found this book very helpful when it came to sample questions. I feel that the questions were very similar to the kinds of questions that were asked on the actual test.
