Richard Schmidt has blessed us with a wonderful book providing challenging and insightful perspectives on all the psalms, and what they have to say to us today. He does a masterful job of tackling even those troubling psalms that seek vengeance on one's enemies. The psalms are designed to help people in all types of situations, when we are praising God, when we are angry at God, or when we are in despair over either our own conduct or those of others.
