Was like brand new!

Not my favorite Reader's Digest but has some good songs like Billy Joel's "Don't go changin', just to please me...I like u just the way you are......"; remember it? And from the MusicMan(& the Beatles) "And then there was you"...I don't like some of Dan Fox's(which he didn't do in the other books& usually is an superb song arranger who I've greatly enjoyed playing his stuff)reinterpretation & watering down. This one he did a lot of that & it can be annoying, but its nice to have a ton of sheet music in one book. There are other RD music books that are fabulous, sounding like the original, this one isn't as great,but still good enough to have fun playing, but if u are a beginner you'll love it. If more advanced, you'll have to add some of your own improv. A lot of music tho for the $.

Great songbook for music lovers

Here's yet another great songbook from Reader's Digest! It contains many great songs, like Ain't Misbehavin', Ballin' the Jack, Harbor Lights, I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire, I'll Never Smile Again, Beyond the Sea, Twelfth Street Rag, Some Enchanted Evening, Singin' in the Rain, Tangerine, If Ever I Would Leave You, and a very nice arrangement of The Lord's Prayer. These books simply can't be beat. They always have good arrangements, and a nice variety of songs to play. I've never once owned a Reader's Digest songbook, and been disappointed. Great chords, great arrangements, great book!
