Great Pictures-Brief -but-factual reading

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my grandson who has an interest in military planes; old and new. This book met and surpassed my expectations. My son is active Air Force and he told me the Popular Mechanics books are good. The illustrations bring life to the words. The chapters are broken down and grouped into types of planes. Super good book. I am also buying another copy for my son. No disappointment in this book!
