This book is writen and illistrated for the young rider.

I just love this book. A friend loand it to my and I just had to buy one for myself! This was the first equine book I ever got and I won't ever forget it. It has helped me emensely thourghout my riding career.

This book is absolutely essential for young riders!

This book is an absolute nessecity for the child rider. It covers grooming, showing, tack, clothing and many safety matters. The equitation chapters are full of pictures demonstrating each and every movement, from the basics to the advanced. It's written in a clear, common sense manner that children find humorous and easy to understand. It's also great as a refresher course after a lesson (kids-and adults!- often find it hard to remember how to execute movements if they're exposed to them infrequently.) Parents and kids alike, this is a wonderful investment you will use for years to come!
